I have recently developed dartitis, I am the captain of my district team and was sort after by many of the top clubs and I started to feel like I was expected to throw great darts every time I played, and thats where it started for me I think.
I have a friend who is a Hypno-therapist and he did some exercises with me to help me relax and not get so stressed before games, he helped me remember the fun and enjoyment we all forget about as we put pressure on ourselves to perform, the hardest trick is to forget about dartitis when your playing, I try to sing a song in my head while I play and concentrate on my breathing and this really helps me.
