    Q. When and where are the tickets available for the PDC, BDO & WDF World Darts Championships?

Tickets go on sale for these championships in June. Details can be found on how to buy them from the PDC & BDO website around this time. It is also good to subscribe to a magazine such as Darts World as they list loads of dart events in their monthly publication.

    Q. Can I recommend good suppliers?

I don’t recommend or endorse suppliers but I can tell you I mainly buy my darts equipment from Frank Johnson Sports and have done so for years. They stock most of the Harrow’s & Unicorn ranges plus much more. Details are on the links page along with other UK suppliers.

    Q. Where can I buy x,y,z?

Questions regarding supply I can usually answer but as above I don’t recommend or endorse suppliers. I have a list of suppliers on the links page and I won’t list a site if I personally had a supply problem with. (This does not mean I have been supplied by all that I have listed.)

    Q. What distance should Ladies throw from?

    See dart board setup.

    Q. I have just started playing darts and want to join a team. How do I find a local team and do I have to join the BDO or PDC?

I have many questions like this sent to me. If you’re of an age to join a social club were they have a darts team or you are old enough to go to a pub then this is the best place to start. Purchase a local news paper and in there you will find weekly darts results and the venues they are played in. Contact the venues and ask to speak to the darts captain.

Another source for competitions and super leagues is Darts World magazine (UK). You can become a member of a professional darts organisation - details can be found on the following web sites PDC, BDO, PDPA & IDPA . All bring benefits but it is best to contact them for the information.

If you are a Youth (under 21) I suggest you contact the BDO or one of the BDO Youth County links on the links page of this web site.

I hope you find all the above useful. All organisations and suppliers mentions can be contacted via the links page on the site.
