Winmau Blade II
Winmau Blade II Click for a larger image 1.3 -1.4MBAfter four months of play this board is now unplayable. The treble wiring is detached from the horizontal blades. The sisal is in good condition and holding darts fine but wire is not.

This is the Blade II and this issue seems to be addressed with the new version Blade III. The treble and double wires on the Blade III are held in place better than earlier versions.

Winmau Blade III
Winmau Blade III Click for a larger image 1.3 -1.4MBThe Blade III after six weeks of play. Looking good from a distance but there are a couple of bent treble wires. On closer inspection you will see that the board blades are manifesting from the board and it won't be long before the wiring becomes a big issue. Sisal in very good order.

Winmau Blade III Click for a larger image 1.3 -1.4MBHere you can see the full extent of the wires lifting. With new boards these wires are flush against the sisal. Do you think this is still in playable condition?

Winmau Blade III Click for a larger image 1.3 -1.4MBHere is a final shot showing the Blade III. I have placed a card under the wiring to give the picture a sense of perspective. I can say this board performed well and would use this board over any round wire or diamond wire board but the wire attachments let this board down. Winmau make very good dart boards but I would like them to rethink how they construct their wiring system on this board.
