On average the Walk-on man walks 64.8 miles per day equivalent to 23,652 miles per year!
The New Darts501 website has been totally redesigned. The purpose of the change is to make the site user friendly for all viewing devices. PC users will see the site has got bigger making it easier to read and hopefully navigate. The navigation has also changed with most pages now accessible directly from a dropdown menu however the quick page navigation at the bottom and site search have remained. A new Bing page translation has also been added making the site available in 50 languages. Also the translation will now carry over to other pages you may read.
Tablet and Smart phone users will see the biggest change of all. The New Darts501 will transform and optimise for your viewing devise. Depending on medium you use to view the new website you will see the side navigation move to below the main page text but above the footer. This side information will expand to fill your screen as well as allow the main body text also to expand to the full viewing with of you screen making it easier to read. The top navigation will also change if your viewing device is small i.e. a smart phone. The Navigation will collapse into an expandable viewing menu designed to take advantage of the width of your device. All images and video content will also resize to optimise your viewing experience.
The site has been tested across many different types of devices, browsers and Operating systems. The new website uses HTML5 and CSS3 coding technology that is fully functional across all main browsers and latest OS. Opea Mini used by some mobile users will know from experience this cut down version of a web browser doesn’t support HTML5 so may experience difficulties with some of the page content however this is an easy fix by just switching browsers. Videos on this site have in the main been converted to MP4, OVG, WebM and will play the appropriate version your browser supports best. Audio again has been converted to several versions and will play the appropriate version supported by your browser.
